The National Federation of Independent Business Endorses Jerry Moran for United States SenateApril 19, 2016
TOPEKA, Kan. – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) today announced their endorsement of U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) for re-election.
“We’re grateful that Sen. Moran is working in Washington to keep small businesses in Kansas healthy and growing,” NFIB CEO and President Juanita Duggan said. “Small business landowners and farmers should be especially glad that the Senator is fighting against the EPA’s attempt to regulate practically every stream across the country through the Waters of the U.S. rule. We need his voice and vote in the Senate to keep small business owners in charge of their destiny, not Washington bureaucrats.”
NFIB is the nation’s leading small business association, with offices in Washington, D.C., and all 50 state capitals. Founded in 1943 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, NFIB gives small and independent business owners a voice in shaping the public policy issues that affect their business. NFIB’s powerful network of grassroots activists sends their views directly to state and federal lawmakers through a unique member-only ballot, thus playing a critical role in supporting America’s free enterprise system.
