Moran for Kansas Announces Greg Graves to Serve as Campaign ChairmanJune 7, 2016
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) today announced that Greg Graves will serve as chairman of his re-election campaign for the United States Senate. In his capacity as campaign chairman, Graves will play a vital role in the re-election effort by promoting the work Sen. Moran has done to create an environment of innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation in Kansas.
“I am honored to support my friend Jerry’s campaign and look forward to sending him back to Washington to work on behalf of all Kansans,” said Graves, a longtime resident of Stillwell, Kan. “What I admire most about Jerry is he doesn’t just listen to the concerns of Kansans; he takes decisive and effective action to fix them in our nation’s capital. Our country needs more results-oriented public servants that have the dogged-determination to find real solutions.”
“Greg has been a leader in the Kansas City community for more than 30 years,” Sen. Moran said. “I greatly appreciate his willingness to become part of our team and bring his wisdom, experience and character to our effort.”
Graves is the chairman and CEO of Burns & McDonnell — a 100 percent employee-owned engineering, architecture, construction, environmental and consulting solutions firm. The global firm is ranked No. 16 on the 2016 Fortune Best Companies to Work For List, and is one of the Kansas City area’s largest employers. Graves also chairs the University of Kansas Hospital Authority Board and the Kansas City Repertory Theatre.
