Moran Proposes Bill to Ease Grain Sales to Cuban People

Yesterday, I introduced a bill to make it easier for Kansas farmers to sell grain and other farm products to the people of Cuba. Current U.S. trade policies toward Cubans hurt our farmers and ranchers. Kansas grain and other products can help the people of Cuba, who suffer the most from their government’s rule. Former President Reagan recognized the same problem when he lifted the embargo on grain sales to the Soviet Union in the 1980s.
