Jerry Moran to Introduce Fellow Conservative Sarah Palin

Kansas First District Congressman and U.S. Senate Candidate Jerry Moran (R-Hays) will introduce fellow conservative Sarah Palin, the featured speaker at the 99th annual Salina Chamber of Commerce banquet scheduled for tonight, Feb. 5.
 
Palin, Alaska’s first female governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate, will address a record crowd of 6,000 attendees for the chamber event to be held at the Salina Bicentennial Center.
 
“I look forward to giving Governor Palin a warm Kansas welcome,” Moran said. “Sarah holds dear the same conservative values and principles that I do.  As governor, she fought against the special interests and their lobbyists, as I have done for Kansas. Kansans are famously independent, persistent and resilient, all qualities that fit Sarah Palin.”
